\nYour new role
\nAs Legal Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the business by drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of service and supply agreements with major commercial clients.
\nWorking closely with internal stakeholders, you will ensure contracts are commercially robust, aligned with risk appetite, and clearly reflect the services being delivered.
\nYou will:

\n\t
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, ensuring risk is appropriately managed
\n\t
• Provide clear, pragmatic legal guidance to internal stakeholders
\n\t
• Support and lead contract negotiations with clients
\n\t
• Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to refine contractual terms and service descriptions
\n\t
• Contribute to business projects
\n\t
• Support governance, policy development and compliance initiatives
\n\t
• Assist with managing external advisors and improving internal processes
\n\t
• This is a varied and commercially focused position with exposure to complex negotiations, cross-functional collaboration and strategic projects.

\nWhat you'll need to succeed
\nYou will be either a qualified solicitor or qualified by experience, with a strong background in commercial contracting.
\nYou should demonstrate:

\n\t
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex service agreements
\n\t
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives
\n\t
• Confidence working with stakeholders across the business
\n\t
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n\t
• Strong organisational and project management ability
\n\t
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
\n

Experience within insurance, financial services or regulated environments would be advantageous.
