As part of this role, you will support the effective management of information and records throughout their lifecycle, ensuring they are secure, accessible, easy to find, and appropriately disposed of when no longer needed.
\nYou'll work with colleagues across a range of business areas, providing advice and support to help them manage information effectively for operational activities and projects. Your work will contribute to improving efficiency, supporting compliance, and enabling better decision-making across DVSA.

\nThe postholder will work with colleagues and business units across DVSA, providing advice and guidance so that colleagues are confident to manage information in a way that complies with legislation, DVSA policy and good practice.

\nTo be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience:

\nA recognised qualification in records management or information management or a related discipline, or a willingness to work towards such qualifications when in post.
\nWorking hours, office attendance and travel requirements
\nFull time roles consist of 37 hours per week.
\nWhilst we welcome applications from those looking to work with us on a part time basis, there is a business requirement for the successful candidate to be able to work at least 30 hours per week.
