Tenancy Support Officer

Location: Rugby
Pay Rate: £17.18 per hour PAYE
Contract: Temporary (3 Months)

We are recruiting for an experienced Tenancy Support Officer to provide intensive support to tenants with complex needs, helping them sustain their tenancies and live independently.

• Deliver tailored tenancy support and develop individual support plans.
\n
• Support tenants with budgeting, debt management, income maximisation, and welfare benefits.
\n
• Work closely with Housing Officers, Revenues Teams, and external agencies.
\n
• Signpost customers to local services and support networks.
\n
• Maintain accurate records and case notes.
\n
• Assist in resolving tenancy issues, including rent arrears and tenancy breaches.
\n
• Support vulnerable tenants to achieve positive outcomes and maintain stable housing.
\n

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer-focused or housing-related role.
\n
• Knowledge of welfare benefits, housing support services, and tenancy sustainment.
\n
• Strong communication, report writing, and organisational skills.
\n
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently.
\n
• Experience dealing with vulnerable customers and complex needs.
\n
• Good IT skills and attention to detail.
\n
• Full UK driving licence.
\n
